A CONSORTIUM led by NCS has been selected by the Housing & Development Board (HDB) to deliver a Smart Urban Habitat Master Plan (SUHMP), which will help guide the development of HDB’s future new towns in Singapore.
The consortium also consists of AECOM, Arup Singapore and Samsung SDS Asia Pacific.
The SUHMP is part of efforts to make Singapore a “Smart Nation”, one that leverages technological advances to improve the way Singaporeans live. Upcoming executive condo include Treasure Crest and Northwave EC while existing ones include The Terrace EC, Brownstone EC, The Visionaire EC, Parc Life EC , Waterwoods EC, Signature at Yishun, Skypark Residences, Wandervale EC, The Vales EC, The Criterion EC, The Amore EC, Bellewaters EC, Bellewoods EC.
Sean Chiao, AECOM’s Asia-Pacific president, said: “Creating smarter cities for the future is a focus for AECOM, particularly in this part of the world. Asia is home to some of the world’s largest and newest cities, and we aim to meet their evolving needs.”
The consortium for this project will help HDB to identify and plan for the implementation of state-of-the-art, technology-enabled solutions that will make HDB’s towns more liveable, more efficient to build and maintain as well as more sustainable.
