ENHANCING CONNECTIVITY ACROSS THE NORTH
Executive Condo residents of The Brownstone EC , Forestville and Signature At Yishun EC will enjoy greater convenience as the North is now more connected to other areas across Singapore, with new links and public transport services shortening travel times. The expansion of cycling networks is also set to boost the mobility of residents by making it easier to travel within and between towns, as well as offering an accessible, cost-effective and sustainable mode of transport.
Thomson Line (TSL)
The upcoming Thomson Line (TSL) will include three MRT stations in Woodlands and one station in Springleaf. When the new line is completed between 2019 and 2021, residents will enjoy more direct journeys to the city.
Parallel bus services such as Service 850E and 951E serving Yishun and Woodlands, and the future City Direct service planned for Sembawang are good alternatives to the MRT for commuting to the city during the peak hour.
Intra-Town Cycling Networks
Sembawang and Yishun are among the first seven towns in Singapore that will have their intra-town cycling networks expanded and upgraded to better support a smarter, more sustainable mode of transport. A new cycling network is also being studied in Woodlands.
North-South Expressway (NSE)
Residents in Yishun, Woodlands and Sembawang will also be able to enjoy much shorter travelling times with the direct city connection provided by the North-South Expressway (NSE) come 2020. This would benefit resident of The Brownstone EC and Signature At Yishun EC which are targeted to be launched soon.
